Say What?

Throughout her life, Emily watched as many of the people she loves were impacted by hearing loss. This led her to become an audiologist when she grew up. One in eight people in the U.S. over age 12 has hearing loss in both ears. Audiologists like Emily help them hear and engage with their loved ones again. Emily is also a volunteer for the Hearing Aid Project, a national assistance program that recycles hearing aids and makes them available to people who might otherwise go without them.
