Just the Facts

Just the Facts

Whether you need hearing aids or want to get involved to help those in need, we’ve gathered some common questions and answers about the Hearing Aid Project.

Q: How can I get help from the Hearing Aid Project?

A: An online application must be completed to determine eligibility. A recent hearing test, identification and financial documents must be uploaded to the application to determine if you meet the guidelines for assistance.

Q: What can I expect after my application is approved?

A: You will be connected with an approved, licensed audiologist who will choose hearing aids from our inventory to fit your unique hearing loss needs. These aids will be refurbished at a lab and sent to the audiologist for your fitting. A follow up visit will also be provided to ensure your hearing aids continue to work properly!

Q: How do I create a successful Personal Fundraiser?

A: Register, personalize your page, and share. That’s it! Your Personal Fundraiser page can be sent via email and shared on social media to gather donations that support the Hearing Aid Project. These donations help us pay for repairs, shipping costs and ensure we can continue to provide free hearing and services to those in need.

Q: I want to get involved with the Project, but I don’t know where to start.

A: Hosting a CELEBRATE SOUND event, personal fundraising or just making a general donation to the Hearing Aid Project are a few great ways to get involved with the Hearing Aid Project. All donations and support to help us give the gift of sound can and will make a difference!

Q: Can I make a one-time donation to the Hearing Aid Project?

A: Absolutely! Whether you can give $10 or $100, your donation to the Hearing Aid Project will help provide hearing aids to those in need. Make a one-time donation and change a life!
